A playful new way to experience everyday tools through character, creativity, and thoughtful design.

Every day, we use countless small tools without thinking twice.

A box cutter opens packages.

A sharpener restores a blade.

A holder keeps things organized.

They are useful — but often overlooked.

At Meowkit, we started with a simple question:

What if everyday tools could feel a little more personal?

What if a tool could be functional, but also bring personality and a small moment of joy into your daily routine?

That idea became the inspiration behind the Meowkit Paw Orbit Collection.

From a Simple Tool to a Little Cat System

Traditional box cutters are usually designed around one purpose: cutting.

But cats are full of personality.

Their paws, ears, tails, and movements all have unique character.

For Paw Orbit, we transformed these familiar cat elements into a functional system.

The paw becomes the knife handle.

The cat head becomes a magnetic holder.

The tail becomes a blade sharpener.

The body becomes a desktop base.

Each part has its own purpose, yet together they create a complete cat-inspired object.

Open. Maintain. Store.

A simple everyday action becomes a more thoughtful experience.

A Softer Way to Hold a Tool

Material choice was an important part of the design process.

Most everyday tools use hard plastic surfaces that feel cold and ordinary.

Paw Orbit introduces a premium flocked handle inspired by the soft feeling of a cat’s paw.

The velvet-like texture creates:

• A warmer touch
• A more comfortable grip
• Better control during use

A small material change that transforms the entire experience.

Smart Storage Inspired by Cat Behavior

Cats naturally find their favorite places to rest.

We wanted Paw Orbit to have that same sense of belonging.

The magnetic cat head holder keeps the knife easy to access on metal surfaces, while the desktop base creates a dedicated home for every component.

Instead of searching for a tool when you need it, Paw Orbit is always ready and waiting.

Built for Everyday Moments

Although Paw Orbit has a playful appearance, it remains a practical everyday tool.

The stainless steel blade is designed for daily tasks such as:

• Opening packages
• Cutting cardboard
• Handling everyday packaging

With a non-stick coating and built-in sharpening system, the collection is designed for long-term use and easy maintenance.

The Paw Has Evolved

Paw Orbit represents Meowkit’s vision of creating products that connect design, function, and emotion.

It is not just a box cutter.

It is not just a cat-shaped object.

It is a new kind of everyday companion — a product that makes ordinary moments feel a little more interesting.

Meet Paw Orbit.
One paw. A whole new system.
